Saturday was all Non Pro and Amature classes like last weekend so I spent the day helping again. We got Misty and Zoe out and excercised them a little then let them rest for the day. On Sunday I showed Zoe in the 10 novice and Misty in the 3 novice. The cattle weren't quite as good as Friday and were nearly all black, but we had a pretty good day regardless. I drew ninth out of about forteen. I put Zoe down a little off center on my first cow, but we got centered up pretty quick. I cut two more calves that settled good and finished pretty strong. We marked a 74 and 1/2 and were second.
I drew last in 3000 novice on Misty. I cut a bad cow to start off with and had a miss and was forced off the cow. I went back and felt around and found a better second and third cow to finish up. Misty is still improving and getting smarter every run. I marked a 70 and was a point out of the money.
